The Methods

SEW- IN METHOD

Sew-in extensions are a highly sought-after method for achieving thicker, fuller, and longer hair. This technique involves securely sewing hand-tied, volume, or machine-tied wefts onto a foundation of beads placed along your natural hair.

The result is a seamless, natural appearance that enhances your hair’s overall volume and length while blending effortlessly with your natural strands. Whether you're looking for added fullness or dramatic length, sew-in extensions provide a durable and customizable solution to transform your look.

We recommend coming in every 8-10 weeks for a Sew-In move up.

TAPE-IN METHOD

Tape-in extensions offer a versatile and discreet way to achieve your desired length, volume, and density. This method utilizes small, individual hair wefts that are expertly bonded to your natural hair in a strategic, seamless manner.

The lightweight design and flat application ensure a natural look and feel, making tape-in extensions an excellent choice for anyone seeking a low-maintenance yet transformative enhancement to their hairstyle. Perfect for a variety of hair types, this method blends effortlessly while providing a polished, full-bodied finish.

We recommend coming in every 8-10 weeks for a Tape-In move up.

K-TIPS

Keratin tip (K-Tip) extensions provide a long-lasting and natural-looking enhancement to your hair. This method uses keratin protein tips that are expertly bonded to your natural hair using a precision hot fusion technique.

The keratin additive not only ensures a secure attachment but also creates a protective coating around your strands, minimizing damage and maintaining the health of your natural hair. K-Tip extensions offer free movement, allowing for a naturally layered texture and effortless styling.

This method is ideal for those seeking a lightweight, flexible, and durable option for added length, volume, and dimension.

This extension method requires you to install new hair every 12-14 weeks.

    • Brush with Care:
Use a soft bristle brush to gently detangle your hair throughout the day. Regular brushing helps prevent knots and tangles that could lead to breakage.

    • Choose Professional-Grade Products:
Always use salon-quality products specifically formulated for extension care. These products preserve the integrity of your extensions and extend their lifespan.

    • Gentle Washing: Shampoo your hair gently, ensuring you follow the natural flow of the extensions to prevent tangling.

    • Targeted Conditioning: Apply conditioner from just below the extension bonds to the ends, avoiding the root area to protect the bonds.

    • Use Sulfate-Free Products: Opt for sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners to maintain the integrity of the bonds.

    • Balance Your Hair's pH: Periodically use pH-balancing products to maintain optimal hair health.

    • Detangle with Care: Use a wide-tooth comb, starting at the tips and working your way up to the roots to prevent pulling or damage.

    • Blow-Dry Smart: Dry your hair 80%–90% before using a recommended extension brush to complete your blow-dry styling.

    • Protect the Bonds from Heat: Avoid applying heat directly to the bonds when using styling tools like flat irons or blow dryers.

    • Daily Maintenance: Run your fingers gently through your hair daily to ensure the bonds remain separated and free from tangling.

    • Prep Your Hair Before Bed:
Never go to sleep with wet or loose hair. Before bedtime, thoroughly brush and detangle your hair, then secure it in a loose braid or low ponytail to prevent tangling and damage while you sleep.

Following these guidelines will keep your extensions looking flawless and feeling luxurious!

  • Exposure to chlorine, mineral-rich water, sunscreen, spray tans, and other bronzing products can lead to discoloration of your extensions. To safeguard your hair, apply a protective barrier such as a detangler or leave-in conditioner before exposure to these elements.

For sunscreen, we recommend using mineral-based options, which are gentler on extensions. Trusted brands include SunBum, Supergoop, and Bare Republic.

By taking these precautions, you can help maintain the vibrant color and integrity of your extensions!
